From: Maya Chen To: Daniel Ortiz Subject: Re: Home automation hub behaving oddly after update Date: Tue, 14 Jul 2026 09:18:42 -0400 Hi Daniel, I checked the hub this morning and it looks like the overnight firmware update mostly completed, but a few Zigbee devices did not rejoin the network cleanly. The hallway motion sensor, pantry contact sensor, and the two bedside dimmers were all showing as unavailable. I power-cycled the hub for about 30 seconds, and the motion sensor came back right away. The pantry sensor still needed a manual wake-up, but it is reporting normally now. The only thing still acting strange is the living room thermostat. It responds to temperature changes from the wall unit, but commands sent through the app are delayed by several minutes. I left diagnostics enabled so we can see whether it is a hub issue or the thermostat integration. I would avoid resetting the whole hub for now. If the thermostat is still delayed tonight, I can remove and re-add just that device.
