Hi everyone,

Quick update on the community network: the new fiber backhaul at the library is live, and HarborLink is now serving 86 households through 14 rooftop relay nodes. Speeds have been stable around 75–100 Mbps for most members, including during the evening peak.

We’re planning another installation round this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The priority sites are Cedar Court and the two apartment buildings on Mill Street, where line-of-sight testing was successful last week. We need four rooftop volunteers and two people to help residents configure their routers. Safety gear, tools, and lunch will be provided.

Monthly service remains $25, with sponsored connections available for households that need them. Please reply by Thursday if you can join the install crew or lend a ladder.
