Hi everyone,

We’ll be performing maintenance on the Cedar Point gateway this Sunday, August 2, from 2:00 to 4:00 a.m. Internet access may drop for up to 20 minutes while we replace the backup battery and install updated routing software. Local traffic within the mesh should continue to work.

We’re also pleased to report that the new rooftop relay at 184 Willow Street is online. Members east of the railway may notice lower latency and more consistent speeds, especially during the evening. If your connection has not improved by Monday, please restart your mesh node and send us its six-character node ID.

Thanks to the Willow Street co-op for hosting the relay, and to everyone who helped with the installation.
