Hi everyone,

A quick update on the HarbourMesh community internet rollout: we now have 46 households connected across Riverside, with average evening speeds of 85–120 Mbps. The new relay on the library roof has also improved coverage along Grant Street and the east end of Palmer Avenue.

We’re looking for two or three additional buildings where we can install small rooftop mesh nodes. The equipment is weatherproof, uses about as much electricity as an LED bulb, and would be installed and maintained by our volunteer network team at no cost to the property owner. Suitable locations need a clear view toward either the library or the water tower.

Our residential plan remains $35 per month, with a $15 supported rate available for qualifying households. Because HarbourMesh is run as a local nonprofit ISP, subscription revenue goes toward upstream bandwidth, equipment replacement, and expanding coverage.
