## Notes

The team reviewed the latest prototype of the home-automation hub. Firmware pairing is now stable for Wi-Fi and Zigbee devices, but Matter support still needs additional testing with third-party lighting and thermostat products.

The mobile app setup flow is functional, though UX feedback indicates users need clearer status messages during device discovery. Customer Support also noted that early testers were unsure whether failed pairing attempts were caused by the hub, the app, or the target device.

Cloud services confirmed that remote access, device state sync, and notification delivery are working in the staging environment. Latency is acceptable for lights and switches, but camera-related events remain out of scope for the first beta.

- The first beta will support Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Matter lighting, plugs, locks, and thermostats.
- Camera integrations will be deferred until after beta.
- The hub will continue operating local automations during internet outages.
- Device pairing logs will be exposed in the app as simplified troubleshooting messages, not raw diagnostic output.
