## Discussion Notes

Pilot ridership has remained above forecast, with weekday commute trips strongest between 7:00-9:00 AM and 4:30-6:30 PM. Weekend usage is highest near parks, waterfront trails, and downtown commercial districts.

The group discussed the need for better station coverage at transit hubs, especially where bus riders are currently walking more than half a mile to reach employment centers. Eastborough requested additional docks near the hospital district and community college.

Operations staff reported that rebalancing remains the largest service challenge. Stations near the central rail terminal are empty by 8:15 AM most weekdays, while residential-edge stations are often full overnight.

Accessibility representatives requested clearer adaptive bike availability information in the mobile app and at physical kiosks. The group agreed that adaptive bike deployment should not be treated as a later phase.

Finance reviewed the draft operating budget. Grant funding can cover capital costs for the next 18 months, but local jurisdictions will need to finalize their annual operating contributions by August 15, 2026.

- The September launch phase will include 42 new stations across the three participating jurisdictions.
- Transit pass integration will proceed using a discounted monthly bike-share add-on rather than full fare bundling at launch.
