Hi Daniel,

I’m following up on our discussion about extending the Lakeshore Bike Share network into Westhaven and the neighbouring municipalities.

Our latest ridership analysis suggests that the first phase should focus on stations near Westhaven GO, the university campus, and the Riverside employment district. We’re proposing 14 new stations with approximately 180 bikes, including 40 e-bikes. If municipal approvals stay on schedule, installation could begin in March, with service launching in May 2027.

Could your team confirm whether the transit authority can share projected passenger volumes for the Westhaven and Riverside hubs? We’d also appreciate feedback on the proposed locations before our planning meeting on August 6.
