## Notes

The pilot mesh currently serves 38 households across the Maple, 9th, and Cedar blocks. Average uptime over the last 30 days was 97.8%. Two outages were caused by power loss at rooftop relay sites, and one was caused by a misconfigured firmware update.

Luis reported that backhaul capacity is stable during normal evening usage but approaches saturation between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Omar recommended enabling additional traffic shaping before expanding to another 50 households.

Outreach interest remains strong. Sam has collected 112 sign-up forms, with 47 households indicating they cannot afford standard commercial broadband. Denise emphasized that the network should prioritize blocks with the fewest affordable options.

Jordan reviewed current funds. The project has $18,420 available, with $9,800 already committed to radios, mounts, cabling, and battery backups. Talia said the municipal digital inclusion grant decision is expected by August 15.

## Decisions

- Phase 2 will target Oak Street, Willow Court, and the south end of Cedar Avenue.
- The project will add battery backups at all primary relay nodes before onboarding new members.
- Monthly member contributions will use a sliding scale:
  - $10 supported tier
  - $25 standard tier
  - $45 sustaining tier
- No household will be disconnected for inability to pay without a support review.
- Installer training will be held before any new rooftop work begins.
- Public sign-ups will open after monitoring alerts and member support procedures are finalized.

## Action Items

- Luis: Finalize Phase 2 node map and link budget by July 17.
- Omar: Configure traffic shaping rules and test alerting for node downtime by July 19.
