## Notes

Luis reported that the mesh backbone has been stable over the past month, with estimated uptime at 98.7%. The main outages were tied to power interruptions at the Franklin Street relay and a failed PoE injector at the library node. Replacement equipment has already been installed at the library.

Marcus confirmed three promising new node host locations: the Maple Avenue co-op, St. Bridget’s Church, and the roof of 214 Henderson Street. The church location would provide the best line-of-sight improvement for the south block, but access terms still need to be confirmed.

Priya reviewed the current budget. The project has $8,420 available after recurring transit, insurance, and equipment storage costs. The proposed hardware purchase would cost approximately $4,950 and support up to 18 new household connections.

Jamal noted that outreach is strongest through tenant associations and neighborhood WhatsApp groups. He recommended postponing general flyers until installation dates are firm.

Elena advised that node host agreements should be signed before any rooftop work begins. She also recommended adding a plain-language service expectations document for new subscribers.

## Decisions

- Approved purchase of six outdoor mesh radios, three sector antennas, mounting hardware, weatherproof enclosures, and spare PoE injectors.
- Prioritized St. Bridget’s Church and Maple Avenue co-op as the next two backbone expansion sites.
- Set the target installation window for August 15-16, pending signed access agreements.
- Agreed to keep the base subscriber contribution at $20 per month.
- Approved up to five subsidized connections at $5 per month for households referred by partner organizations.
- Decided that all new installs must include a printed service expectations sheet and support contact card.
