From: Maya Chen To: Theo Ramirez Subject: Re: Harbor Lights vertical slice notes Date: Tue, 14 Jul 2026 09:42:18 -0400 Hi Theo, Thanks for sending the build last night. The team played through the new lighthouse sequence this morning, and it is the first time the pacing has felt close to what we pitched: quiet exploration, one tense mechanical problem, then a small emotional payoff without overexplaining it. A few notes from our side: - The fog shader looks great on desktop, but it still eats too much of the Switch frame budget when the player turns toward the harbor. - The new radio chatter works, especially Mara's second line after the generator fails. Please keep it understated. - The pulley puzzle is readable now. We only had one tester miss the crank, and that was before the interaction highlight appeared. - The gull audio loop is too obvious after about thirty seconds. If we can lock this section by Friday, I think we should use it for the publisher check-in next week. It gives a much better sense of the studio's tone than the market level did. Main changes are the lighthouse pass, updated fog, and the first implementation of the radio dialogue.
