## Notes and Decisions

### Production and Quality

- The team roasted 86 kg across 11 batches last week.
- Batch GJ-0724 of jasmine green developed a slightly toasted finish after the cooling trays were overloaded.
- Future green-tea batches will be capped at 7 kg until airflow improvements are tested.
- The second-roast profile for the hojicha produced the preferred nutty aroma without excessive smokiness. This profile is approved for production.

### August Roasting Schedule

- Roasting will remain on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Friday reserved for catch-up batches and equipment cleaning.
- Assam breakfast tea production will increase by 12 kg per week to meet wholesale demand.
- The team will roast the autumn maple genmaicha in two small pilot batches before committing the full ingredient allocation.

### Autumn Sampler Packaging

- The sampler will include four 25 g pouches: maple genmaicha, smoked black tea, roasted oolong, and cranberry rooibos.
- Kraft paper cartons with a single-color rust-red sleeve were approved.
- The launch quantity is set at 300 boxes.
- Ingredient and allergen language for the maple genmaicha must be reviewed before labels are printed.

### Taiwanese Oolong Stock

- Current stock is sufficient for approximately three weeks at the present sales rate.
- Priya’s preferred supplier cannot ship the next lot until late August.
- The team decided not to substitute a lower-grade oolong. Online sales will be capped if inventory falls below 12 kg.
- Ben will notify wholesale customers that September allocations may be limited.

### New Wholesale Account

- North Line Café confirmed an opening order of 18 kg: 10 kg Assam breakfast, 5 kg jasmine green, and 3 kg hojicha.
- The first delivery is scheduled for August 12.
- North Line requested basic brewing guides for staff training.
- Tea will ship in standard 1 kg wholesale pouches; custom labels will be considered after the first three orders.
