The automations are still running locally, but the Zigbee devices are taking longer than usual to report status changes, especially the kitchen motion sensor and the two upstairs dimmers. I think replacing the hub makes sense if we can do it without rebuilding every routine from scratch. The current one has been solid for years, but the last firmware update seems to have made it less reliable, and I do not want the thermostat or leak sensors depending on a box that needs a reboot every few days. If you order the new hub, please make sure it supports local control, Matter, Zigbee, and Z-Wave.
