Stack the quiet frames
For the Veil, 186 light frames were paired with forty dark and flat frames. The stack keeps faint oxygen detail without forcing the color.

Every image begins with a forecast, a cleared sensor, and enough time for the sky to reveal its structure.
Keep the horizon honest
Foregrounds are exposed separately at blue hour, then aligned by hand. No artificial stars are added to the final plate.
Process for the eye
Calibration happens in Astro Pixel Processor, with finishing in a restrained curve: rust, blue-black, and the gray of real moonlight.
