Good morning,

Here is the mid-July update on the RiverLink regional bike-sharing network.

Ridership is tracking 14% above the same period last year, with the strongest growth at the East Junction, Mill Street, and Lakeview Transit Center stations. We are also seeing heavier weekday use between 7:00-9:00 a.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m., which suggests the new commuter pass is starting to shift some short car trips.

The operations team has added two rebalancing runs on weekdays and one additional weekend run along the river corridor. This should reduce the number of empty docks at the downtown transfer points, especially during evening events.

A few items need coordination:

- The Willow Creek station is ready for installation, pending final sidewalk clearance from Public Works.
- The university has requested 18 additional docks before fall semester.
- Three older charging cabinets in Southport need replacement before the e-bike expansion.
- Customer service reports continued confusion about whether the regional pass covers airport-zone trips. We should align messaging before the August campaign.
